Inside The Gates Feature

Last November, we had the pleasure of being interviewed for Inside The Gates, a local San Antonio magazine. Following is the interview in full. Thank you!

Klau Shop/ Klau Jewels was started in Mexico 13 years ago. We opened up in San Antonio one year ago. I started with a children’s store in Mexico and moved on to include women’s jewelry and other items and home accessories. When I moved to San Antonio, I opened Klau Shop right off of 281 near Thousand Oaks. We sell designer items for women/babies/kids and I design and make jewelry. My jewelry brand is created one of a kind with precious gems, gold & silver. Most of the items are hand knotted and are completely unique using clasps and pendants with diamonds.

I’m a fashion and jewelry designer with a masters in store brand management with a degree in jewelry design. I studied in Seattle, Paris and Italy. Creating has been my passion all of my life. A little bit about me: I grew up in Mexico and after I turned 17, I lived mostly in Europe (Paris, Italy and London). I have three small kids and we live in The Highlands at Sonterra and love the quietness and nice neighbors. My passion is my work in all design areas. I also love to ride horses, exercise daily, travel and spend time with my family. All of my days are filled with jewelry making.
